I started at ISTS in 2017 while in college working towards my Bachelor’s degree in Accounting. Coming from a low-income family, scholarships were the only reason I was able to attend college and I was overjoyed to be joining a company where I knew I would be able to give back to others in the same way that I had been supported to pursue my education.
Prior to ISTS, I worked in a variety of customer service-focused positions. It has always been fulfilling for me to be in a position to help others. I find my role with ISTS to be exceptionally fulfilling, knowing that I communicate directly with student applicants to help them get one step closer to realizing their educational goals.
As a Program Support Representative, I am often the first point-of-contact for our applicants when they have questions. I make it my mission to leave no question unanswered to ensure the application process is as easy as possible. I want our applicants to walk away from our interactions feeling confident with their application and knowing we are on their side.
Higher education is so important and truly enhances our lives. It is something that should be available to everyone and I am honored to be part of an organization motivated to expand access to higher education through scholarships and tuition assistance. It is truly a privilege to be a member of such a wonderful team.
